Brownsburg Boys Track Runs Past The Quakers
The boys' track team held on for a hard fought victory over the Plainfield Quakers by a score of 69 to 63 last evening. The Bulldogs were led by Kyle Steinbaker's victories in both of the hurdle events, sizzling a near record performance in the high hurdles, and Wyatt Rondot's gutsy victories in both the 1600 and 3200 m runs. Other individual winners were Dillon Easley in the pole vault, Daniel Purdy in the 800 m run, Matt Phillips in the 400 m dash, and Todd Nibbs, who high jumped to victory in his first meet of the year after coming back from an injury. The Dogs were also able to capture an impressive 4 x 800 m relay victory with the team of Andrew Maloney, Daniel Purdy, Bradley Bowles, and Ben Hendricks.
