Devney Signs with Indiana Weslyn

Brownsburg High School senior, Kerry Devney, signs her Letter of Intent to play soccer and attend Indiana Wesleyan University (picture below). Devney is looking forward to joining the I.W. Women's Soccer Team and playing for the Wildcats next year.

BHS Head Coach Phil Slavens had this to say about Devney. "Kerry Devney has been an outstanding player for the Bulldogs for 4 years. Eminently coachable, never takes a day off, completely reliable; she has been a coach's dream. Having said that, I am confident she will be the same type of player at the next level. Coach Bratcher is acquiring an outstanding young woman that will be able to play right away. I am confident that Kerry will make us all proud, not only on the pitch, but in anything she does."

Dr. John Bratcher, I.W.U. Head Women's Soccer Coach stated, "We are excited to have Kerry join our squad next fall. Besides being a very skilled defender, she brings a great attitude that blends with our players. She fits our style of play and our Christian culture. Her positive outlook and desire to be better is exciting. Kerry will be a big asset to our team on and off the field."
