Sectional Play Ends for Girls Soccer

The girls soccer teams' season ended last night in the semi final of the Avon sectional, losing to Avon 2-1.  The Dogs scored early on a beautiful pass from Tayler Stivers to Taylor Carter but avon showed why they are the 7th ranked team in the state by getting the equalizing and go ahead goals in the next ten minutes.  The remainder of the game was a very physical defensive struggle with neither team mounting an attack.  Special thanks to the seniors playing their last match for the Dogs - Kerry Devney, Kelsey Holzinger, Caitlin Gaub, Macey Osborn, Megan Trout, Anna Myers, and Mandie Holbrook.
