Pioneers Are Too Much for Bulldogs

The 18th ranked girls' soccer teamsuffered an unexpected defeat at the hands of the Mooresville Pioneers Monday evening 1-2. The girls played well and had chances but the clock ran out before the girls could get the tying goal. Scoring her first goal of the season was Sami Peery with a 40 yard rocket midway through the second half. Once again, Kerry Devney proved why she is one of the best defenders in the state turning away several Mooresville attacks. On a postive note, Mooresville is coached by Jason Damron, a former Bulldog soccer player. Next up are the second ranked HSE Royals on Wednesday evening.
