Bulldogs Drop A Battle to Orioles

The 20th ranked girls' soccer teamwent up against the ninth ranked Avon Orioles Saturday and lost an extremely close, extremely hard fought match 2-1. The Dogs were in the match the entire way and the outcome was in doubt until the end. Sami Peery went down with an ankle injury in the second half and her spot was very well filled by Tori Edwards. Also playing well for the Dogs were Taylor Carter (assist), Kelsey Holzinger (goal scorer) and Sophie McFarland. Alex Gotkowski did an outstanding job in goal.
