Girls' Soccer Advances in Sectional Play

The girls' soccer teamavenged an early season defeat by beating a tough Plainfield team 2-1 in the opening game of sectional competition. Sami Peery was the offensive star by scoring both goals in the match. Also playing well was Macey Osborn, Tori Edwards, Kelsey Holzinger, Tayler Stivers and the usual strong defensive group, Kerry Devney, Sophie McFarland, Anna Myers, and Rachal Sperka. Next up for the Dogs are the Avon Orioles on Thursday at 7:00pm at Avon. Go Dogs!
