Irish Defeat Bulldogs in Rain Soaked Game

The girls' soccer teamplayed one of their best matches Wednesday evening in a continual rain storm against the fourth ranked Cathedral Irish. The Irish were able to break a scoreless tie midway through the second half, and eventually went on to a 3-0 victory. The Dogs were competing on equal terms with one of the best teams in the state, despite having two key players out with injuries. The Dogs yielded two late goals to end any comeback hopes. Anna Myers played the entire game defending one of the best players in the state. Also playing well for the Dogs were Tori Edwards, Kelsey Holzinger, Sophie McFarland, and as usual, Kerry Devney.
