Girls Soccer Kicks Off Season With a Victory

The 16th ranked girls soccer team started their season in great fashion last night, beating the Giants of Ben Davis 7-1.  Scoring stars for the Dogs were Taylor Carter with 3 goals and 2 assists, Kelsey Holzinger with 2 goals.  "Bulldoger" of the match was Rachal Sperka.  The midfield of Tayler Stivers, Sami Sperka and Sophie McFarland ran the Giants ragged.  As usual, Kerry Devney controlled and directed the defense.  The Dogs next home game is Wednesday the 24th against Noblesville.
