Bulldogs Come from Behind to Defeat Quakers

The Varsity Girls Basketball Team showed great heart last night in a come from behind win against Plainfield, 57-53.  The Dogs trailed with 2:46 remaining in the game, but played great defense down the stretch to force several Quaker turnovers.  Devin Courtney stepped up big hitting her famous 3 from the right corner to tie the score.  Zhane Roper scored 10 of her 12 points, in the fourth quarter to rally the Dogs.  Zhane drained four free throws in the final seconds to secure the win.  Devin finished with 12 points.  Reilly Olmstead took a huge charge in the final minute of action.  Reilly finished with 5 steals, 3 rebounds and dished out 3 assists.  Aliyah Walker had a double double (even though she spent much of the first half on the bench in foul trouble).  Aliyah finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds.  Hannah Linville, Tyon McKenzie and Daija Middlebrook did a great job stirring up the Quakers with their tenacious defense.  Tyon grabbed 5 boards.  Chazney Jones showed off her quick hands finishing with two steals, 5 points and 2 board.s

The girls will face Avon on Saturday night.  Come out and support your Dogs!
