Bulldogs End Regular Season at Center Grove
The Dogs took to the road for their last regular season game Tuesday evening to take on Center Grove. Playing on their 3rd senior night of the season it was fitting that a couple seniors made the game memorable. For the Dogs Seniors Adrian Chapman and Zack McKeown paced the team in scoring. With the team trailing by 1 with 30 seconds left, McKeown cut off a double screen and calmly sank the go ahead score for a 42-41 Bulldog lead. Center Grove worked their offense to 9 seconds and took a time out. The initial inbound play did not work and with 4 seconds one of the Center Grove seniors fired a desperation 3 from the wing that found the basket. The bulldogs attempt with 1.8 seconds did not score and the Dogs lose a heartbreaker 44-42. The team had a great second half and executed very well in the fourth quarter to put themselves in position for the win. The Bulldogs will take on the winner of Mooresville and Terre Haute South on Friday in the sectional semi-final. Go Dogs!
