Ranked Wildcats Defeat Bulldogs

On Wednesday the Dogs travelled to Lawrence to take on State ranked Lawrence Central. Matching the host shot for shot in the first quarter the Dogs allowed back to back baskets in the last minute to allow the Bears to take a six point lead. The team played well into the second quarter still trailing by six but foul trouble  and turnovers allowed Lawrence Central to make an 11 point run to end the half. The Dogs battled throughout the third quarter but could not get closer than 15 points. The host Bears did a great job of managing the fourth quarter as the visiting Bulldogs could get no closer than 13 points. Adrian Chapman lead the Dogs in scoring with 14 points 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Cameron Alford chipped in 12 points and 4 rebounds. Michael Fowlkes had six points and 3 assists. Dogs will travel to Warren Central next Friday
