Bulldogs Celebrate Seniors

Brownsburg honored 5 senior players, one cheerleader, and 4 year manager Matt Mace Tuesday evening on Senior Night against county rival Plainfield.  Seniors Adrian Chapman, Zack McKeown, Aaron Head, Jimmy Simms and Will Kesterson took the floor at Varsity Fieldhouse one last time as classmates, teammates and competitors in front of a full crowd of students, friends, family and die hard Bulldog fans.  The Dogs didn't disappoint as they raced to a 7-2 lead.  Plainfield responded with a 7-0 run to end the quarter but Brownsburg countered with a 18-5 second quarter and 11 point halftime lead.  10 of the 11 Bulldogs who played scored and the team was a perfect 17-17 from the foul line as the Dogs went on to win on Senior night 55-39.  The student body came out in great support of their classmates to send the 5 players and student manager Matt Mace out in grand style.  With the Brownsburg Junior Basketball League in attendance for recognition on their great seasons in rec and travel ball, the Bulldogs (big & little) had a quite an evening to celebrate.  Many thanks to the parents and families who helped to make this a very special evening for the team
