Brownsburg entered 2016 showing signs of significant improvement by splitting their last 4 games beating Avon and Frankfort, while battling state ranked Ben Davis and Pike in competitive games.  Saturday Brownsburg dug an early deficit to Pike trailing 38-24 at halftime.  Pike's pressure and accurate shooting caused the Bulldogs problems in the first quarter before Brownsburg responded with a scrappy 2nd and 3rdquarters.  Brownsburg got the deficit to 10 and looked to be making a run, but Pike got timely baskets at the end of the 3rd quarter and push the lead back to 14 points.  Bulldogs continue to improve their balanced offense with 8 players scoring and also getting to the foul line. Cameron Alford led the team in scoring with 11 points.  Adrian Chapman and Jacarr Boone chipped in 8 and seven points respectively.  The Boys and Girls Basketball teams will participate in the Hendricks County Tournament next week hosted by Brownsburg.
