Bulldogs Escape with a Victory over the Falcons

The boys' varsity basketball team started off their last regular season game strong behind good team defense. The Dogs held off a late Perry Meridian run to defeat the Falcons 61-60. Jaraan Lands scored a career high 31 points off of 14-18 shooting thanks to precise passes by Chase Durtra, Gerald Harney, Zach Miller, and Xavier Ringo. Ian Good had career high ten points on 5-6 shooting while also taking a charge. The Bulldogs shot a season high 64.3% from the field, while controlling the boards 31-13. The Bulldogs take on Decatur Central next Wednesday to tip off the Class 4A IHSAA Sectional 11 matchups.
