Bulldogs Win Consolation Game at Hendricks County Tournament

The boys' varsity basketball teambounced back in county tournament play and defeated Tri-West on Saturday 53-39. The Dogs held Tri-West to 25% shooting from the field while shooting 52.8%.  K.J. Walton sparked the Dogs in the second quarter with his defensive intensity and by knocking down a three against the Bruin's zone.   Chase Dutra dropped in 10 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished five assists. Jarann Lands connected for 17 points and pulled down eight boards. Mycah Whestone pulled down nine rebounds to go along with nine points.  Walton, Ringo, Finley, and Lucas added nine, three, two and two points respectively. The Dogs face the top team in the state Hamilton Southeastern Friday at the field house.
