#1 Royals Too Much for Bulldogs

The boys' basketball teamtook on the #1 team in the state Hamilton Southeastern on Friday night, but fell short 47-57.  The Dogs held the high scoring Royals who average in the mid 70's to 57 points. The home team also shot 50% for the game; however, the Dogs couldn't convert on enough offensive possessions to claim the upset.  Tied at 28 midway through the third quarter, the Royals went on an 8-0 run which the Dogs couldn't erase.  Chase Dutra had an efficient game of 10 points, five rebounds, and four assists.  Freshman K.J. Walton scored a career high 10 points and seven rebounds.  Jaraan Lands had 14 points.  Mycah Whetstone added eight points and stopped two of Michigan State bound Gary Harris's dunks.

Thank you for the terrific student section, loyal fans, and the support of Coaches for Cancer night.  Thanks to you and the Brownsburg Junior Basketball League, over $2,800.00 was raised for the fight against cancer!  The Dogs travel to McCutcheon Friday night.
