Bulldogs Spoil Quakers Valentines Day

The Bulldog boys' basketball team showed their love on Valentine's Day last evening by handing out roses to players' mothers, cheerleaders, and coaches' wives. Then the team showed their love for the game of basketball by jumping out to an 18 to 3 lead versus Plainfield thanks to eight points by Trevor Lucas, a trifecta by Gerald Harney and seven points by Evan Finley. Zach Miller and Ian Good finished up the starters who held Plainfield to just three points in the first quarter. Xavier Ringo dished out three assists to teammates, and Jaraan Lands pulled down ten rebounds in the game in which the Dogs controlled on the defensive end. The Quakers shot 28.9% from the field for the night. Twelve players scored for the Bulldogs: Lucas eight, Wright two, Ringo five, Dutra two, Whetstone three, Lands nine, Comer five, Finley 11, Thompson four, Good two, Walton five, and Harney five.
