IHSAA reveals draw for Girls' tennis Sectional 12 at Brownsburg

The 2021 IHSAA Sectional 12 draw was revealed Monday during the 2021 IHSAA Girls' Tennis Sectional Pairings show. Brownsburg High school will play host to the five-team field from May 19-22 at the Brownsburg tennis facilty. Avon, Danville, Mooresville and Plainfield are also in the field, with the Orioles coming in as the defending champions.
No.27 Brownsburg opens Sectional play Wednesday (May 19) against Danville at 5 PM with the winner advancing to Thursday's IHSAA Sectional final against No.14 Plainfield. On the other side of the bracket, No.12 Avon and Mooresville will meet in the Semifinal Thursday for a trip to the IHSAA Sectional Championship match.
Court assignments will be released at a later time.
Rain is expected in the forecast Wednesday, which would shift the Sectional to later this week. A rain date is scheduled for Friday (May 21) at 5 PM.
The 2021 IHSAA Sectional 12 champion will advance to a four-team IHSAA Regional at Brownsburg May 25-26. Brownsburg will host winners from Sectional 9 at Ben Davis, Sectional 10 at Lebanon, Sectional 11 at Park Tudor and Sectional 12.
