No.26 Girls' tennis drops hard-fought Rotary Bell match against No.7 Avon

No.26 Brownsburg fell to No.7 Avon April 27, snapping the Bulldogs three-match win streak in the B&O Trail Rotary Bell rivalry. Brownsburg put up hard fought matches at No.1 Singles as well as No.1 and No.2 Doubles in the match. 

Ava Allen won the first set at No.1 Singles but the Orioles responded with consecutive wins in sets two and three. Evelyn Cougill and Shelby Allen also won the opener of their three-setter at No.1 Doubles. Cougill and Allen dropped a close tiebreaker in the second set before the Orioles got a 6-4 win in set three. 

Grace Thomas and Marisa Petrunich put up a tough fight for Brownsburg at No.2 Doubles in the match.
