No.26 Girls' tennis upsets No.14 Zionsville at home, 4-1

No.26 Brownsburg won for the third time over the last five matches as the Bulldogs took down No.14 Zionsville 4-1 April 29. Brownsburg swept the doubles matches to pick up their first ranked win of the season. 

Ava Allen rolled to a straight set win at No.1 Singles to get the win underway for the Bulldogs. Allen won her opening set for the second straight match after picking up a 6-2 win against the Eagles. She won the second set 6-2 to put the first point on the board for Brownsburg. 

Hannah Schwab secured the second point of the night for Brownsburg at No.2 Singles after a tiebreaker win in the first set. Schwab won the second set without dropping a game. 

The Bulldogs grinded out two three-set doubles wins over the Eagles. No.1 Doubles duo Evelyn Cougill and Shelby Allen clinched the match for Brownsburg with a 6-2 win in the third set of their match. Grace Thomas and Marisa Petrunich overcame an opening loss to take the final two sets over Zionsville. The third set was a tight 6-4 win for the Bulldogs at No.2 Doubles.
