Petrunich, Thomas pick up Senior Night victories in No.24 Girls' tennis win over THS

No.24 Brownsburg secured both doubles points as the Bulldogs rolled past Terre Haute South May 5, 4-1. Seniors Marisa Petrunich and Grace Thomas were celebrated before the Senior Night match and both went on to win their respective matches in straight sets. Thomas won 6-2, 6-3 at No.2 Singles while Petrunich and Hannah Schwab won 7-5, 6-2 at No.1 Doubles. 

Ava Allen started off the night in dominant fashion for the Bulldogs as she dropped just two games en route to a straight sets win. Shelby Allen and Evelyn Cougill secured the first doubles point of the evening, also dropping just two sets. 

The Bulldogs have won two of their last three matches heading into the 2021 Hoosier Crossroads Conference championships this weekend.
