Bulldogs vs. Orioles

Last night the Swimming and Diving Bulldogs hosted rival Avon.  The women came out on top by a convincing score of 116-70 while the men's team lost a tough one to the #2 ranked Orioles 121-62.

The Lady Bulldogs won 7 of the 12 events on the night, including 2 relays.  They started off the meet with a season best time in winning the 200 Medley Relay.  The swimmers were Piper Lovett, Logan Replogle, Bailey LaPaugh and Madison Mehringer.  Piper would go on to win the 50 Free and 100 Back as well as anchoring the winning 400 Free Relay.  Madison would add a win in the 100 Breast.  Bailey and Logan were also members of the 400 Free Relay.  Freshman Abby Callis won the 100 Free and led off the 400 Free Relay.  Danielle LeClerc added another diving win to her season.

The men's team was facing the #2 ranked Avon team.  The only win on the night for the Bulldogs was Justin Garnett in the diving event.  Second place finishes were recorded by Noah Pearson in the 200 and 100 Frees, Jack Lukens in the 200 IM, and Kevin Gast in the 100 Fly and 100 Breast.

Both teams will be home next Tuesday night against Pike.
