Bulldogs Swim Past Giants

Last night the Bulldog Swimmers and Divers traveled to Coach Gast's alma mater - Ben Davis - for a meet with the sectional rival Giants.

The lady Bulldogs came away with a 138-45 win while the men's team won 137-44.

On the women's side, event winners included:

Madison Mehringer in the 200 and 100 Frees, AJ Moll in the 200 IM and the 100 Back, Danielle LeClerc in Diving, Logan Replogle in the 100 Fly, Maranda Peak in the 500 Free and Annabelle Ketchem in the 100 Breast.

Others on winning relays included Jenny Dreessen, Bailey LaPaugh, and Abby Callis.

On the men's side, the Bulldogs won every event.  They were led by:

Kevin Gast in the 200 Free and 100 Fly, Frank Schoemer in the 200 IM and 100 Free, Riley Koester in the 50 Free and 100 Breast, Noah Pearson in the 500 Free and Braden Jackson in the 100 Back.  

Others on winning relays included Jack Lukens, Andrew Fulwider, and Devon Anderson.

Athlete of the meet was Grant Kent.  Grant earned his first ever varsity victory by finishing first in diving.

Both teams travel to Crawfordsville Thursday night.
