Boys Compete at State meet

The boys track and field team was in action this past Friday at the IHSAA State Track Meet. Competitors included: Reis Thomas (Discus), Devin Humes (Discus), Shai Sumpter-Bey (4x100), Bryce Kirtz (4x100), Leigh Nutall (4x100), and Jon Hammond (4x100). Senior Devin Humes finished his high school track and field career as an all-state athlete. Devin placed 9th in the discus, throwing 157-8. Devin will throw at Marian University next year. On the track, the 4x100 meter relay team had a strong finish to their season, running 42.65 and once again breaking the school record they had taken over the prior week. Their time was good for 12th place. Congratulations to all our Bulldogs on a strong season.
