Bulldogs Compete at Hoosier State Relays

The Bulldogs sent seven competitors last weekend to the HSR Competition at Indiana University. The highlight of the day came from Senior Eli Johnson. Eli cleared 6-4 in the event which placed him 5th in the competition. Eli becomes a two-time placer at the indoor state competition which is an impressive accomplishment. Another highlight was the 4x200 meter relay. Leigh Nutall, Dequincy Davis, Jack Parker, and Shai Sumpter-Bey competed in the sprint relay and ran 1:33.76. Although the relay team did not place, their time is the second fastest indoor 4x200 meter relay time in school history and the fastest this season. All four of those athletes ran personal bests in the event. The Bulldogs will be back in action when Southport comes to town on Tuesday.
