Eagles Down Bulldogs

The Varsity Football team traveled to nearby Zionsville on Friday night to take on the Eagles and mother nature!  Unfortunately the Dogs ended up on the wrong side of a 16-3 score.  Jose Hacker connected on a tough early first quarter field goal, despite the wind and driving rain to give the Dogs a lead they would hold until nearly half time.  Unfortunate missed opportunities cost the team multiple scoring opportunities throughout the game and led to the defeat.  The defense held the Eagles to a 3 and out on 9 of 13 drives with Tyler Kirtz blocking a late field goal attempt to keep the Dogs in the game until the very end.  The team will honor their seniors this Friday night was they take on the Noblesville Millers.  We WILL see you on the field!
