Boys' and Girls' Swim Teams Place First at Greenfield Relays

The Bulldog Boys & Girls Swimming & Diving Teams celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday by bringing home a Greenfield Central Relay championship. The Bulldog Girls won a close battle with Muncie Central (83-76) and led the charge in an even closer duel with host Greenfield Central (166-162) for the combined title.

The Bulldog Girls won 7 of 11 events and broke two meet records. The trio of junior Madeline Ketchem, sophomore Chloe Wittig and freshman Kierra Watson set new records in the 300 Butterfly and 300 Backstroke Relays with their winning performances.

Ketchem, Wittig and junior Erin Miller were all triple winners on the day. All three girls teamed with sophomore Anna Miller to win the 800 Freestyle Relay. Erin Miller and freshman Brianna LaPaugh won the 1,000 Freestyle Relay, and both Miller girls and LaPaugh teamed with sophomore Tia Scoggan to win the 400 Freestyle Relay.

Scoggan teamed with senior Elizabeth Ancel and sophomores Grace Fulwider and Madde Jordan to win the 200 Medley Relay. Fulwider, Jordan and senior Emily Young touched the wall first in the 300 Breaststroke Relay.

The Bulldog Boys chipped in a pair of wins, with freshman Joe Ancel contributing to both. Ancel and senior Brian Collins won the 1,000 Freestyle Relay, while Ancel teamed with sophomore Donnie Spencer and freshman Kyle Baney to win the 300 Breaststroke Relay.
