Girls' Swimmers Stay Undefeated on Season

The Bulldog girls swimming & diving teammoved to 3-0 on the season with wins over Cascade (61-32) and Mooresville (63-37) on Tuesday night at the Bulldog Aquatic Center. Junior Madeline Ketchem, sophomore Grace Fulwider and freshman Kierra Watson led the charge for the Dogs with three wins each. Ketchem picked up individual firsts in the 50 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke, while Watson led a pair of one, two sweeps in her events. Watson and senior Elizabeth Ancel swept the 200 IM, while Watson and freshman Brianna LaPaugh swept the 500 Freestyle. Fulwider was the winner of the 100 Butterfly and teamed with Ketchem, Watson and freshman Breanna Smith to win the opening 200 Medley Relay. She would later finish the meet in successful fashion, teaming with senior Emily Young, sophomore Chloe Wittig and freshman Megan Wolf to win the 400 Freestyle Relay. In addition to her relay success, Wittig picked up an individual first in the 100 Freestyle, leading a one, two sweep of the event with Ancel. Sophomore Madde Jordan teamed with LaPaugh for a one, two sweep of the 100 Breaststroke.
