Bulldogs Defeat Avon

The varsity boys' tennis team traveled to Avon and beat the Orioles 5-0 in an HCC match-up.  The doubles team of Nathan Mehringer and Nick Wilde were first off the courts, putting in one of their best performances of the year.  Jon Class, at two singles, only dropped two games on his road to victory.  Sam Gentry clinched the match with a very efficient win at the number one singles position.  Todd Clark and Matt Irelan started off slowly but then battled their way back into the lead and held on to gather the fourth point.  Sam Peterson played some steady tennis and made sure the final point went into the Bulldogs' column.
