Bulldogs with Impressive Win Over Franklin Community

Your Dogs enjoyed an impressive and dominating win at home on Friday night against Franklin Community High School, winning 59-0 and controlling all phases of the football game.

The Dogs started strong with the very first play from scrimmage, when Bryce Kirtz scampered 80 yards behind tremendous blocking.  14 seconds into the game the score was 7-0.  From that point, the team never looked back and The Dogs led 52-0 at the half.  On offense, Brownsburg had 495 yards in total offense, with 3 touchdowns by Bryce Kirtz and one each from Donnie Marcus, RJ Decker, Kyle Strakis, Chase Blair, and Devin Jones!  Obviously the offensive line was imposing their will on Franklin as well.

Defense was equally as dominant, holding the Grizzly Cubs to a meager 69 yards of offense.  There were 4 turnovers forced, with Tyrone Griffin and Cooper Mroz each having interceptions and Lawson AIken and Dane Middlebrook recovering fumbles.  The defensive effort was truly outstanding.  The kicking game also joined the party by going perfect on extra points, booming a 60 yard punt on the only punt of the game for The Dogs, and great kick coverage.

Please join us next week for our rivalry game against "The school south of us" that has a bird as their mascot.  We can't wait for packed visiting bleachers helping us get another victory!
