Bulldogs Open Season with Win

Tuesday night the Lady Bulldogs Swimming and Diving team hosted the Tri-West Bruins.  The Bulldogs were strong throughout the entire meet, placing 1st and 2nd in all 12 events.

The Bulldog effort was led by senior team captain, Piper Lovett, who won the 50 Free and 100 Back events and was on the winning 200 Medley and 400 Free Relays.  Freshman Madison Mehringer also won 2 individual events, claiming first in the 200 IM and the 100 Breaststroke as well as swimming on the winning 200 Free Relay.  Others winning individual events were AJ Moll in the 200 Free, Bailey LaPaugh in the 100 Fly, Abby Callis in the 100 Free and Logan Replogle in the 500 Free.

Junior Danielle LeClerc started the season with a strong win in the diving event.

The girls will be in action next Tuesday against Cascade and Mt. Vernon.
