Bulldogs Run to 5th Place

The boys' varsity cross-country squad ran to an impressive fifth-place finish out of 22 teams Saturday in the Ben Davis Invitational, edging out East Noble High School on the score of the first extra runner, Devin Boone.  For the third time in the first three meets, senior Hari Sathyamurthy led the way by capturing the individual championship in a personal record time of 15 minutes 43 seconds, which is 5 minutes 5 seconds per mile over 3.1 miles!  

Marcus Fierek snuck into the top 10 overall out of 144 runners with a personal best time of 16 minutes 23 seconds, followed by Elijah Wagner, Michael Breckler, and Christian Hammerly, with the latter two earning personal records.

The Bulldogs JV team had personal best times galore, led by the 19th and 21st place finishes out of 199 by Levi Wilbur and Michael Powell, finishing just under 18 minutes.  Also running personal bests were Bryce Dixon, Hayes Morrison, Nate Bess, Josh Limbil, Jared Boone, and Nate Turnipseed!
