Boys' XC Runs to Runner-up Finish

The boys' cross-country team ran to a runner-up finish yesterday in the Hendricks County Championships at Cascade High School, falling to a very tough Avon squad. The Bulldogs struggled in the stifling heat, but Hari Sathyamurthy ran by himself the whole way and finished as the County champion. This is the sixth time in the last seven years that a Brownsburg harrier has won the county crown. Marcus Fierek and Elijah Wagner finished 10th and 12th, respectively, while Devon Boone and Christian Hammerly rounded out the scoring positions for Brownsburg.

In the junior varsity race, Michael Powell finished in the top 15, while Tyler Nolan had a strong race to finish in the top 20.
