Boys and Girls Compete at State Preview Meet

The boys' and girls' cross-country teams were in action over the weekend at the State Preview Meet on the state finals course in Terre Haute. Both teams struggled to find their legs in the hot and muggy conditions, with the girls placing 11th out of 23 teams and the boys finishing 12th out of 25 teams.

Laura Bess led the girls with an impressive 5th-place finish out of more than 200 competitors, while teammate Sidney Lesko wasn't far behind in 11th. In the boys' race Wyatt Rondot led the Bulldogs in 50th place with Justin Hays less than one second behind. Jack Reed had an outstanding performance as well by running to the 5th varsity position for the Dogs!
