Boys' Track Competes at Secionals

The boys track team finished 4th place as a team but had many qualifiers for the regional meet next Thursday at Lafayette Jeff. Hari Sathyamurthy is our sectional champion in the 1600 and 800 meter events! He was also a member of the winning 4 x 400 meter relay along with Tyler Kirtz, Nassif Kouton, and Brandon Britton. Other qualifiers to the regional meet are: Mark Bond in the 3200 meter run with a 3rd place finish, Johnny Dotlich in the 110 meter hurdles with a 3rd place finish, Kevin Albert in the pole vault with a 3rd place finish, Nassif Kouton in the 400 meters with a 3rd place finish, Tyler Kirtz in the 200 meters with a 3rd place finish, the 4 x 800 relay team of Seth Webster, Devon Boone, Ben Crockett, and Brandon Britton with a second place finish, and the 4 x 100 relay team of Nassif Kouton, Toks Akinribade, Isaiah O'Neal, and Tyler Kirtz with a second place finish.
