Boys' Track Competes at County Meet

The boys track and field team fell short behind Avon and Plainfield at Tuesday's night's County track meet. There were some great performances for the night including Hari Sathyamurthy who came home with three blue ribbons! Hari started off the night by taking first place in the mile run followed with a personal best time in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:57! He earned his third blue ribbon for the night with the help from teammates Tyler Kirtz, Nassif Kouton, and Brandon Britton in the 4x400 relay. The relay ran their best time of the season with a time of 3:24 to hold off Avon for first place. Other notable performances for the night was KJ Edwards scoring fourth place in the high jump with a personal best jump, Mark Bond scoring third in the 3200 meter run, Kevin Albert was second in the pole vault, Johnny Dotlich was third in the 300 hurdles, Nassif Kouton placed third in the 400 meter run, and the 4x100 and 4 x 800 relays placing second. The Dogs are back in action Thursday night as we host Westfield for a JV meet. Go Dogs!
