Boys' Track and Field Competes in Regional Meet

The boys' track team wrapped up the season last night at the Lafayette Jeff regional championships. No boys advanced to the state finals, but there were many top performances nonetheless. Jeremy Shupperd wrapped up one of the Bulldogs' most stellar careers by setting a personal record in the 300 m hurdles and missing the school record by only 4/100 of a second. Nassif Kouton had an outstanding meet, running personal bests in both the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relays. Elliott Shaw had the best finish among all the Bulldogs by running to fifth-place, only two spots from a state finals berth. Not to be outdone, both the 4 x 800 relay team of Britton, Bond, Boone, and Sathiamurthy and the 4 x 100 team of Kirtz, Hightower, Dotlich, and Kouton placed first in their respective sections.

The boys finished the season with a record of 25 wins against 18 losses. Great season, guys!
