Boys' Track Competes at HCC Meet

The Brownsburg boys track and field team was in action last friday night at Zionsville High School for the Hoosier Crossroads Conference Championship. Rain and below desirable temperatures were a nuisance early in the competition but the boys track team managed to accumulate several noteworthy performances. Among the top performances of the night were Josh Mishler, who took 4th in the pole vault with a jump of 13 feet, Taylor Hemmert in the long jump, who grabbed 4th place with a mark of over 20 feet, and Justin Hays, who took the 5th place ribbon in the 3200 meter run with a time of 9:49:22. Not to be outdone, Jeremy Shupperd lowered his school record in the 110 high hurdles with a time of 14.98 seconds! The Bulldogs boys track and field team is in action again this thursday May 16th at Plainfield for the Sectional Championships. Good luck and go Bulldogs!
