Bulldogs Place 4th at Sectional Track Meet

The boys' track team turned in their strongest performance of the year last night in the sectionals at Plainfield High School.  The Dogs placed fourth out of 11 teams, but were only 16 points behind second-place Zionsville High School.  Jeremy Shupperd once again led the way with a sectional title and another new school record in the 110 m high hurdles, but he also picked up a runner-up in the 300 m hurdles and a third place in the high jump. David LaPerle pole vaulted 14'3" to get second-place, followed closely by Joshua Mishler in third place, and Justin Hays ran to third in the 3200 m run with a time of 9:47.  The following individuals also advanced to next week's regional championships by placing in the top four:

Johnny Dotlich... high hurdles
Elliot Shaw... 1600 m run
Jones, Britton, Boone, & Sathyamurthy... 3200 relay
Hightower, Britton, Kouten, & Dotlich... 1600 relay
Hightower, Dotlich, Kirtz, & O'Neill... 400 relay

The boys' season record now stands at 33 victories against 18 defeats!
