Dogs' Lose a Tough Match to HSE

The varsity boys' tennis team played excellent tennis against seventh ranked Hamilton Southeastern, losing in a phenomenal 3-2 match. Although Sam Gentry did not get a win, he played his game very well and kept his opponent on court for a good length of time. At the two spot, Nick Wilde battled through a tie-break and nearly three hours before dropping a tight one. Jon Class performed quite well in a straight set victory for the Bulldogs at three singles. At the number one doubles position, Michael Hartnagel and Nathan Mehringer had a very exciting win against a very good doubles team. The number two tandem of Michael Clemens and Todd Clark lost out in a tie-break but certainly kept the match interesting.
