Boys' Tennis Goes 1-1 Over The Weekend

The varsity boys' tennis team went 1-1 over the weekend.  On a rain delayed match played on Friday the team defeated Plainfield 4-1. The singles triplets of Sam Gentry, Nick Wilde, and Jon Class put in another great day at the office, playing strategically sound and patient tennis. The doubles duo of Michael Hartnagel and Nathan Mehringer battled well to bring in a victory on their court. The number two doubles team of Michael Clemens and Todd Clark played hard but lost in a tough third-set tie break.

On Saturday team dropped a tight match to a tough Perry Meridian squad on Saturday by a 3-2 score. Both points came from the Bulldogs' doubles teams. Michael Hartnagel and Nathan Mehringer dominated with excellent doubles, and Michael Clemens and Todd Clark came out aggressively and took the win in straight sets.
