Boys' & Girls' Track Celebrates Seniors
The girls track team had a great night at home against the Lebanon Tigers as they cruised to an easy victory. Dominating nearly every event the girls put up some impressive results throughout the meet. Sophomore Mallory Roark continued to show her talent in the 800m run as she grabbed 1st place in 2:34 followed closely by Freshmen Brianna Channon and Laura Sanders. Julia Popenfoose doubled up in the 1 and 2 mile races and came away with victories in both. Courtney Stull tried her hand at the 100m dash for the first time this season and took the blue ribbon, while also taking 1st in the hurdles and 2nd in the long jump. While all the girls put up great results it was also senior night as the bulldogs honored the 5 seniors that have put in lots of hard work over the years. Those seniors include Jaqueline Batayneh, Caitlin Dressler, Sydney Dryer, Alyssa Flandermeyer, and Jolori Schafer. Congratulations to these girls and thanks for all that you have done!
