Girls' Compete at Oriole Classic

The girls' track team had a good showing on Saturday at University of Indianapolis placing several athletes towards the top of the results list. Sophomore Courtney Stull ran her best hurdle race ever placing 1st above a huge field of great hurdlers. She topped that off with a new personal best in the long jump with a jump of over 16 feet, placing 6th overall. Junior Cassidy Brown shaved nearly 30 seconds off of her 2 mile time to finish in 12:20 and also teamed up with Tavon McCollum, Julia Popenfoose, and Allison Hering for a solid showing in the distance medley relay. Finally a big congratulations to long jumper Claire Hathaway, hurdler Courtney Stull, and pole vaulter Megan Berry for qualifying to the Indiana Indoor State Meet this Saturday! Best of luck to them and the entire team going forward!
