Girls' Track Opens Indoor Season

The Girls Track team got the season off to a stellar start on Tuesday night with their first indoor meet at Wabash. While no overall team scores were kept, there were great individual performance in nearly every event for the Bulldogs. Sophomores Claire Hathaway and Courtney Stull teamed up to finish 1st and 2nd overall in the long jump with great jumps of 16' 6" and 15' 6". Stull also finished first overall in from a large field in the 60m hurdles. The distance medley relay team of Julia Popenfoose, Cassidy Brown, Tavon McCollum, and Mallory Roark finished an exciting event in 1st place with strong performances all around. Megan Berry continued her winning ways in the pole vault by clearing 9' 6". Just a few other impressive performances came from Britany Newson in the shot, Caitlin Dressler in high jump, and Briana Smith in the 60m dash. Excellent job to all the girls on a successful first meet!
