Track and Field Competes at ZHS Invite

In a very close battle the girls track team placed 3^rd out of 10 teams Friday night at the Zionsville Invitational. Sophomore Courtney Stull continued her winning ways and set a new personal best time in the 100m hurdles as she cruised to victory in 16.1 seconds. She also backed up her performance with a 1^st place in the 300m hurdles, followed in 2^nd by teammate Jolori Schafer, and 3^rd place in the long jump. Claire Hathaway took another 1^stplace in the long jump, while Megan Berry vaulted to another 1^st as well. Juniors Julia Popenfoose and Cassidy Brown showed great improvement as they put up season and personal best times in both the mile and 2 mile against very tough competition placing 4^th and 5^th out of 18 girls in both events.
