Ladies Open Track Season at Wabash College

The Lady Bulldog Track Team opened its season last night at the Little Giant Charger Indoor meet at Wabash college. Sibong Ncube placed first in the 55 meter hurdles in a time of 9.01 seconds and qualified for the indoor state meet on March 17th at Indiana Wesleyan University! Sidney Lesko also qualified for the state indoor mark in the 3200 meters with a time of 11:57 winning the event! Rachel Smith and KJ Gaerke rounded out a great performance in the 3200 taking 2nd and 3rd place honors!

Other notables on the night were Ncube, Florence Akinribade, Monique Burnes, and Tavon McCollum in the 4x200 meter relay finishing 3rd, McCollum, Morgan Weller, Jolori Schafer, and Kerry Devney in the 4x400 meter relay finishing 2nd, Ncube and Caitlin Dressler 3rd and 4th in the high jump, Schafer and Lauren Markovich tied for 5th in the pole vault, and Deveny and Markovich were 3rd and 5th in the long jump
