Bulldogs Close Home Schedule with a Win

The girls soccer team closed their home schedule in fine style last night, beating visiting Lafayette Jeff 3-0. Scoring all goals in the first half were Hannah Mummert, Taylor Carter, and Sami Peery.  Several players are healing up near the end of the season and adding depth to the team as sectional play approaches.  Playing in her first game back in weeks, Macey Bunn had an outstanding game.  All of the seniors helathy enough to play made a great showing in their last match on home turf.  Alex Gotkowski got her second shutout of the season.  On a side note, it was my final opportunity to coach on "Brownsburg soil" and it was a wonderful experience for me - not just the win, but the entire evening.  The girls next match is Monday at Fishers
