Bulldogs and Irish Play to a Tie

The Brownsburg girls Soccer team made the long trek to Lawrence Soccer Park to battle with the Lady Irish of Cathedral High School Wednesday evening.  After going down2-0 early in the second half, the Dogs caught fire.  Sami Peery scored her first goal of the season and Jordan Garrett, brought up from the reserve team, scored her first Varsity goal with under three minutes remaining to earn the tie in the match. Although still decimated by injuries, and playing with few available subs, the girls refused to quit and left the field knowing they had played their best.  Alex Gotkowski was, once again, outstanding in goal, Hannah Mummert played great also.  The Dogs return to action Monday evening at Center Grove.
