Girls' and Boys' Cross Country Races into Regional Finals

The boys' cross-country team struggled a bit in sectional competition yesterday at South Putnam High School, coming home 2nd-place to crosstown rival Avon. the team was led by senior Justin Hays in 4th place and Senior Elliot Shaw in 5th. Mark Bond, Jack Reed, Seth Webster, and Marcus Fierek all had sensational races for the Bulldogs!

The girls' cross-country team ran to a third-place finish behind Avon and Plainfield High Schools in sectional action. Julia Popenfoose, Cassidy Brown, and Alison Hering all ran outstanding races and finished in the top 11 spots! KJ Gaerke and Mackenzie Vandersar rounded out the scoring positions for the Bulldogs. Both teams qualified for the regional finals this Saturday morning at Ben Davis High School.
