Two more wins for track and field over Plainfield, Mooresville

Brownsburg hosted both Plainfield and Mooresville for their third home meet this season. In the most recent IATCCC polls, Brownsburg boys are currently ranked fourth and the girls are ranked fifth. The Bulldogs remain undefeated at home, and continued to do what they do best on the course, dominating. 

Final meet scores:

Boys

  • Brownsburg 91.5
  • Plainfield 54
  • Mooresville 21.5

Girls

  • Brownsburg 80
  • Plainfield 60.5
  • Mooresville 21.5

Events:

100M - Darrelle Rice finishes in first place, Aysa Thruston takes second. 

200M - Paige Kirtz took first place, and Darrelle Rice finished in second. 

400M - Scotty Tienda finished first for the boys, and Paige Kirtz took first for the girls making that her second first-place finish of the night.

800M - Haiden Diemer-McKinney adds another first place finish in the 800M to his resume this season. Trey Krizan took second place. 

1600M - Trey Krizan and Skyler Dickenson finsih in first place in the boys and girls 1600M run.

3200M - Sherjeel Khan and Linsday Huston take first in the boys and girls 3200M run.

110M and 300M Hurdles - John Colquitt sweeps both boys hurdles events taking first place in both.

4X100 Relay - Brownsburg boys finish in first behind John Colquitt, Zemonda Wilson, Caleb Marcus and Dominic Calhoun. The girls also finished in first behind a strong race from Jordan Griffin, Darrelle Rice, Hailey Hoskins and Aysa Thruston.

4X800 Relay - The boys took first place behind Sudharshan Srinivasan, Jalen Larkey, Alexander Chavarria and Haiden Diemer-McKinney.

4X400 Relay - The girls relay team of Jordan Griffin, Aysa Thruston, Hailey Hoskins and Paige Kirtz finsihed in first place. 

Shot Put - Shon Tupuola took first place.

Long Jump - John Colquitt took first place. 

 

The Bulldogs return to action Tuesday April 26 at Avon. The meet is set to begin at 5 PM.
